WE BELONG TO THE MARYLAND CHAMBER OF COMMERCE. IF YOU JOIN OUR CHAMBER AND HAVE TEN OR FEWER EMPLOYEES, YOU CAN BECOME A MEMBER OF THE MARYLAND CHAMBER FEDERATION AT NO CHARGE! (An $800 value)
Joining our Chamber is an inexpensive way to augment your marketing plan to promote your organization or business. As a member, you have an instant connection with like-minded business and community leaders where you will raise your profile and grow your network. We recognize that your success is our community's success, as you are the backbone that keeps our local economy strong, unique and viable. We work hard all year to provide opportunities for you to network, learn, serve on committees (or the Board of Directors), and market your business.
Every event and meeting that we organize is always "on purpose" to give you value in exchange for your time and money. You will always meet someone new, learn something new, and let people get to know you. We will keep you informed and help you and your employees develop a knowledge base in many areas such as leadership, technology, business planning and marketing, finance, etc.
Our members value relationships over "hard core" leads exchanging. They want to know you before a recommendation. You are sure to build lasting, mutually beneficial relationships as a member.
We have been supporting businesses and organizations for over 65 years, and many members' businesses are third generation and have been with us "from the beginning". Our members are pillars in the community, engaged and involved in many civic and charitable activities beyond daily operations. We also proudly boast that our Chamber has the most Small Business Association annual awards winners in the entire state.
The Chamber has strong coalitions with the Anne Arundel Economic Development Corporation, Workforce Development, and access to many resources, and we can work with you collectively to address issues as they arise. We also keep you informed on legislative issues impacting your organization, and will often have action plans for meeting with elected officials or testifying during the Legislative Session.
Membership dues are annual and renewed on the original join date. Membership dues can be paid by check, cash or credit card. Once you become a member, you are added to our database with your Directory listing, and to our email system for our weekly newsletter and e-blasts.
We are a 501 (c) 6 non-profit organization. Dues are deductible as a regular business expense.
