The Greater Severna Park and Arnold Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary membership organization incorporated as a non-profit 501(c) 6. Our work is financed by the investment of the business and organizations that support our efforts to make our community the best place to live, work and raise families. Our Member volunteers contribute their time and talents serving on committees, which in turn brings visibility to them and grows their network.
Committees

There are so many ways to get involved on a larger scale with our Chamber. We have STANDING COMMITTEES that host regular events and participate throughout the year, and AD HOC COMMITTEES that assist in the planning and executing of our Signature events.
These are excellent opportunities to raise your profile in the community while really getting to know fellow Chamber members. Our volunteers are golden!

Shop Local
Our Shop Local initiative keeps our local businesses in the forefront of the community. We produce events that encourage people to patronize our local businesses and recognize the enormous contributions that they make to maintain a strong local economy, provide jobs, donate thousands of dollars to support charitable efforts, and preserve our wonderful and unique quality. Our main event is the Shop Local Fun Festival held annually at Park Plaza. Over 60 businesses and organizations participate in an afternoon of festivities, food, demonstrations, music and more.
We are working to create more events throughout the year such as Ladies Night, Holiday Shopping/Tree Lighting at the Chamber, and more.
Chairs

Learn and Lead
This committee creates monthly workshops that focus on self-improvement and leadership development. Workshops are fun and interactive and held virtually on the third Tuesday of each month. Our 2022 series puts business owners on the "Center Stage" with them telling us all about their journeys in creating their ventures, challenges and successes and more.
